When are you open?

Depending on river and weather conditions our season typically runs 7 days per week from the end of April until the end of October. Hours vary, with slightly shorter hours before Memorial Day and After Labor Day and Longer Hours in between.


Are reservations necessary?

Not mandatory but highly recommended. Weekends can be booked solid and we may not have trips available. Also, with our online reservation system, we have added waivers and lunch orders. The sign up process can be much shorter and we can get you on the water much faster when you have reservation. Rates are also higher without reservations.


How do I make a reservation?

Call us or visit us online. Online reservations require a credit card payment to complete. Reservations made when you call require a credit card number, but you won’t be charged until the day you arrive for your trip. You can choose to split payments or pay with cash when you arrive if you wish. If you want to make a reservation for today, you must book your trip online.

What about cancellations?

Just Call us! Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before your trip, and the day of your trip due to bad weather at our location, with no penalty (unless otherwise discussed). Cancellations made on the same day but prior to your trip time are charged $15 per person. No shows with no cancellations will be charged full price : we will hold your boats all day waiting for you to show up. All Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card used to hold the reservation.


Can I go in the rain?

Many People go rain or shine. Believe it or not, there is a real beauty to rain drops bouncing off the river and low hanging fog in the river corridor. Wildlife sightings are usually more plentiful and it’s quieter in the rain.


Can I picnic along the river?

By all means! The river is a National Recreation Area. There are beautiful islands, as well as shoreline spots, with sandy beaches great for a picnic. We provide trash bags and require that all your trash be carried with you to the finish. We recycle the trash bags: empty them out, don’t throw them out. Please don't litter


What to bring?

Appropriate clothing for the weather, dry change of clothes, sneakers or river shoes,  sun protection, hat, bathing suit & towel, packed lunch (or buy it here), cameras, binoculars, goggles, snorkel, or anything else you think you would need for a day on the river!

Are alcoholic beverages permitted?

Permitted yes, encouraged, No! National Park Rangers suggest a limit of (3) 12 oz. cans of beer per person per day. If you appear intoxicated, you are subject to arrest and removal from the river by the National Park Rangers. NO glass containers.


Do we need to sign a waiver?

Yes! Like any outdoor recreational activity there is risk involved and all participants must sign our waiver/release from liability form. A parent or legal guardian must sign for any minor (Scout Leaders, Pastors, Friends, Relatives, etc. are not legal guardians). Waivers will be attached to your confirmation email. Use the link in the email to sign your waivers electronically before arriving to save time.


Are children permitted?

People of any age (over 2 years) can enjoy a river trip; however, everyone must be able to swim.


Is fishing allowed?

Yes, but if you are over 16 years old, you must have either a PA or NJ fishing license. Unfortunately we do not sell fishing licenses.
