Canoe or Kayak Eshback to Delaware Water Gap

This 20-mile adventure begins at the Eshback access, the perfect spot to launch kayaks and canoes, and ends at the famous Delaware Water Gap, a well-known point of interest in the Kittatinny Ridge that has been attracting visitors for many years.

The best way to see the Delaware Water Gap is by water, and you’ll really enjoy the scenery while paddling down river from Eshback. During your Poconos canoeing and kayaking trip, you’ll see plenty of local wildlife that flourishes in northeastern Pennsylvania, like birds and bald eagles, deer, and more.

Look for islands in the river, like Tocks, Labar, Depew, Poxano, and more.  You’ll pass many beautiful vistas along this route.

The average paddler can enjoy this trip from the end of April through the end of October and experience new scenery with each season. Great for paddlers of all ages and skill levels.
